It's fun to take a Ferry in HK on a clear day to TST side and back. It costs pennies and it's great fun for the kids!

Lamma is a great getaway island. 30 minutes by ferry (check online for schedule), Yung Shu Wan is full of island atmosphere, cafes (i like bookworm) and bars. The hour walk to SokYueWan is gorgeous
