Catania–Fontanarossa Airport, also known as Vincenzo Bellini Airport, is an international airport 4.3 km southwest of Catania. It is the main airport of Sicily and it is named after the opera composer Vincenzo Bellini, who was born in Catania.

the best way to travel to Taormina is by flying to the Airport of Catania. From there there are buses which will take you to Taormina within 75 minutes.
