This is a great place to visit early on a weekday. It gets incredibly busy on weekends.

This is the historic home at Emerald Bay on the lake. You can hike down and take a tour. One of the most famous sights on the lake.

This is a must-see for all vacationers. It's absolutely beautiful. You can pull into the park's small parking lot and take pics. Keep in mind, peak tourist hours are between 10:30am and 4pm. I would go before or after.

On its eastern shores, gently sloping beaches, crystal-clear water and interesting rock formations allow for wonderfully sublime swimming, kayaking and scuba diving at Sand Harbor. Boaters, water-skiers and fisherman can easily launch from one of the park’s two ramps. Visitors who would like a…

Very Scenic Views of Lake Tahoe, Emerald Bay and Eagle Falls. Hike down/up to bay about 2 1/2 hours round trip. Nice beach area & pick-nick area at the bottom.

Ski Area
“S____ Valley is a world-famous ski resort that hosted the 1960 winter Olympics. The Olympic flame still burns at the entrance to the valley from Highway 89. In the winter people flock to the valley to ski KT-22, Granite Chief, Silverado Bowl, and the other iconic features of the resort. For many, the experience is a once-in-a-lifetime pleasure, and we feel lucky to have the chalet just ten minutes away. In the summer, the valley is busy with golfers, festivals and music events, climbers, and shoppers. People also enjoy riding the aerial tram past the valley's stunning rock formations and shopping and dining at the village at its base.”

Pizzeria
“This is one of the most popular pizza places in South Tahoe and is really good but it is located in Heavenly Village so it is often hard to get a table at peak times. There are also so many other good food options at Heavenly Village so we don't usually get Pizza when we are there but this is a great option for Pizza! ”
