This is about 20 minutes away in Lead and is a must if you're visiting the Deadwood area. My favorite spot in the hills with amazing burgers, sandwiches, and sides. Everything is either in house made or seasoned. Good beer selection too. Keep in mind they are cash only.

Iconic, stunning, like another planet, the badlands are a must see. It's a 1.5 hour drive from Spearfish but well worth it for a day trip. Tons of hiking, driving, and sightseeing.
