Nearby county park (just north on the Pinellas Trail), Wall Spring Park is perfect for the little ones. A huge playground and plenty of room awaits. The trail within the park leads to a huge observatory that overlooks our island and the Gulf of Mexico. Wildlife of all kinds can be seen here. The main attraction is the fresh water spring that flows into the Gulf. It is enclosed now, but at one point was a popular swimming hole for locals.
