Nice change of venue from the usual beach scene. You have the walking paths and nature as well as the beach. It is not the soft white sand of Clearwater Beach but there are nice bathrooms and snacks for kids and lots of natural animals and creatures to see. More sea shells and things to gather. It is a State Park. Definitely a place to bring water shoes because the sand is rockier than other beaches.

Beautiful beach causeway leading up to the Park. Jetski and kayak rentals are available on the causeway. Great for a family beach day or finding seashells. There is a fee to cross into the park.

White sand beaches, and miles of coast line to walk. Want to find seashells, this is the beach. Go to the farthest north end to park, then walk north. Best time for shells is just after a storm or big surf.
