If your a donut lover or a sweets lover, make a stop in. Gourmet donuts, and Açaí bowls need I say more. And they have one of the best coffee in town. Get in early before they sell out. They open at 6am and close at 11am.

So Jockos restaurant is not in Pismo, but if your looking to have the best steak. It’s worth the 15 min drive. Be sure to call and get on the waiting list. Or you’ll end up waiting possibly hours for a table. Be sure to have room in your tummy because the portions are large.

Downtown San Luis Obispo is a great place to spend a few hours eating and shopping. Lots of great local restaurants and small boutique shops. It has a little bit of everything. Thursday nights is Farmers Market. They block off Higuera for about 5 blocks and have live music and food and local artists. It’s a fun time.

Parking in summer is crazy!

If you are able to leave the car and walk everywhere downtown, do it. If you must drive, later in the day typically you can find more parking on side streets and closer to the northern end of town.
