This is more of a classic California beach town. Tons of tourist souvenirs shops, and fun stores to walk around in. The pier is great to walk on and look for whales. The beach is nice and boogie boarding, body surfing or just playing in the sand is perfect here.
Pismo Beach is located right on the coast with restaurants, shops, bowling alley, and a newly renovated pier. The beach stretches for miles and even has dunes that you can visit - if you are feeling adventurous, you can even rent dune buggies and go explore them yourself!
