Best damn mussels and Belgian beers in the city. Gets crowded, so make reservations or go during the week. Don't be afraid to belly up to the bar here, either. They serve the full menu.

Go with a full wallet and an empty belly. Every single thing is worth every single penny. Hell, go every day. You won't regret it.

If you blink, you'll miss it. Unless you see the line out the door. Some of DC's best ramen and noodle dishes. The wait is LONG on high-traffic nights, but go on a weeknight, and you'll walk right in. Always call before you trek over.

Skip Georgetown Cupcake and go here instead. Seriously. Don't even question us on this one. The folks who own this shop also have a bread-centric cafe and bakery called A Baked Joint, also included in our recommendations.

It's namesake give's it away. This is a British pub on H Street that has some of the best fare in the city. We recommend brunch, as it's one of the few in DC where you get a lot of bang for your buck. If you're able to finish everything on your plate, we'll give you an award. Not really, but it's still worth the challenge.

Sure, there's a Ben's on H Street just down from our place, but this is the original. Pony up to the counter and have a half-smoke, chili fries and a chocolate milkshake.

Our neighborhood greasy spoon. Cheap, good eats, and it's basically open any time you're hungry. Be warned, though: don't accidentally go to Tony's Place - literally across the street - you'll be disappointed.

Sweet or savory. Or both. Grab a slice of chocolate chess and a coffee. Or maybe a quiche and a PBR is more your style (we don't judge). Either way, get here and check it out. Whole pies are also for sale, just in case you want to share when you get home.
