Go to Hanoi, I am sure that you have heard about "Pho". If you want to eat it as local people choose their disk, I introduce a name: Pho Tu Lun. Fortunately, it is very close, about 5 minius to walk. Believe me, I ate it hundred time. Delicious.

Nice space and great coffee. Trung Nguyen Cafe is located in the garden of National library. Opposite my apartment and you can see it through the window. Down the Street and go through, enjoy 1 Cup capuchino is a good choice.

Sightseeing

Hoan Kiem Lake is a great destination in Hanoi, there are so many good things to say about this place. I just want you to know that the place is "Kilometer Zero" of Vietnam. It only takes about 5 minutes to walk (450m), you are already there. Enjoy it any time of the day. In the weekend, Hoan Kiem Lake & its adjacent areas transform into pedestrian zones. P/S: Run around the lake early in the morning if you like to practice and have running shoes.

Arts & Culture

The world-famous Thang Long Water Puppet Theatre in Hanoi has its roots in an art form that dates back to the 11th century. The tradition of water puppet theatre stems from a time when rice paddy fields were flooded and villagers would make entertainment by standing in the waist-deep water with the puppets performing over the water. Using large rods to support the puppets it appeared as if they were moving across the water with the puppeteers hidden behind a screen. Next to the Hoan Kiem Lake and you need a 10 minute walk from the apartment.

"This excellent modern museum showcases the roles of women in Vietnamese society and culture. Labelled in English and French, it’s the memories of the wartime contribution by individual heroic women that are most poignant. If the glut of information sometimes feels repetitive, for visual stimulation there is a stunning collection of propaganda posters, as well as costumes, tribal basketware and fabric motifs from Vietnam’s ethnic minority groups. Check the website for special exhibitions." says Lonenly Planet. Too great, this museum is too close to walk to, next to the street.
