Moosewood began as a coop back in the early 70s. It is now a destination for people who have enjoyed their vegetarian cookbooks. It has expanded since its early days but retains the down-home character. Moosewood is located in an old school building, adjacent to The Commons.

Taughannock (pronounced ta-gan-nuk) Falls is higher than Niagara but very skinny, The Overlook has been recently updated with a visitors center and large parking area. Very worthwhile visit.

It's Market Cafe includes a sub shop, pizza counter, sushi center, Asian foods, a fabulous deli and plenty of tables inside; and outside in the summer. And yes, there's a child care center while you shop.
