The bay of Provatas includes 5 beaches, 3 of which in Agios Sostis, and 2 of them right below Villa Marina.
The Provatas bus stop is within walking distance of Villa Marina, with service to the hub of Adamas. Itineraries are frequent during the busy months of July/August, but sparce or non-existent for the remainder of the year.
Of course, Provatas is on the south coast of Milos, where Villa Marina is, and not in Plaka, as the obtuse map and description say.
