Just outside our small street, this lively street is right between the town hall (Hotel de Ville) & its tall clock tower and the Archevêché/ Cathedral area. It is full of souvenir shops, boulangeries, small restaurants, cafés & terraces. Aix ancient Science Po or law school is along this street across the cathedral.

Elegant mansion one of the most beautiful in town with art exposition along rue Joseph Cabassol in the Mazarin district in city center. It has pretty French gardens with fountain, lunch and afternoon tea - choose between their terrace with parasols outdoor or their two beautiful dining rooms. Bring home something from their souvenir shop. Tranquil and elegant place, very Aixois.

My favorite restaurant in Aix in Place de Prêcheurs serving excellent French food at affordable prices. View outside is the city’s tribunal or court house, and the big farmer’s market (Tuesday /Thursday Saturday mornings).
The place to be, a local favorite, enjoy its beautiful terrace. A plus, sushis, sashimis, noodles and other typical Japanese dishes are prépared by a real Asian.
