It's my favorite tiny little shoebox venue. You could go on a wednesday and see a good indie show. It has a CBGB vibe. It was the original 40 watt club. If you like metal or indie music go check out the Caledonia.

It's the closest thing to a 'night club' if you're looking for that kind of atmosphere, all good is the best spot in town. It's a little younger and on the younger side of town but if you're over 30 you won't feel odd being in there.

It's iconic. Purely Athens. It's a good club and the acts range pretty widely but you can always catch a good show there.

Best beer in the State. The building is a historic rebuild as well so it's a cool space. I recommend actually doing the tour -- especially if Blake is giving it. It'll touch your heart.

Food Scene
The food is to die for. This place absolutely kills it. I recommend going for lunch because it's such a bargain but dinner is fabulous as well. You can't go wrong at Last Resort. It's iconic - an Athens staple.

It's a classic spot with great burgers. You can't go wrong at this diner. Grass fed beef and tots cooked to order. Shakes and beer. It's a nice dive!

It's my favorite place to hang out, have some oysters or a small plate and drinks. The bartenders are incredible and the food is always fresh. They do ramen on Mondays and it's hot fire.

Get breakfast here. They don't serve alcohol but you are allowed to BYOB if you like to mimosa with your coffee. The biscuits are the size of my head!
