Parks & Nature
The entrance is two miles from our house, and from our porch we look at the back side of this small mountain. You can drive up the road or hike up the trails. The hike is just over one hour round trip. There are Adirondack chairs to sit in at the top, overlooking the Champlain Valley, Lake Champlain and the Adirondack mountains of NY state.

This is a cultural opportunity just 5 minutes from our house that is a secret hide away that many don’t know about. It is an old sheep farm that was also a part of the underground railroad route. There are also ice cream socials and Pie socials that take place here on some Sundays! A great place to learn about the history of this part of Vermont.

Church Street is in the center of Burlington. It has been a walking street for the past 30 years. There are all sorts of boutiques, restaurants, clothing stores, coffee shops, and most always have street performers as well.

The shopping park is very small and easy to navigate. The market is has everything you need, is owned by locals, and has been in town for three generations.
