This is our pub restaurant , and is ideal for a quick cheap meal. Very old pub over a hundred years old, and was originally at the Waiorongomai gold mine for the miners to stay at. It was towed up here many years ago

fantastic day walk up to the falls, wide good track need to be reasonably fit, beautiful bush walk, steep at the end, but very easy walking 95% of the time. Tui's can be heard sometimes along with other native birds.

BEAUTIFUL GARDENS AROUND THE WORLD-- FREE this has a great café , and will be a full day out to see all the garden's. approximately 35 mins by car towards Hamilton. Great place love it.

A short drive of 15mins, it has a busy atmosphere, with two large supermarkets , The Warehouse, and good cafés to choose from. This also has over 150 life size colourful cows outside most shops, kids love sitting on them for fun. There are the banks ANZ, WESTPAC, BNZ there as well.

Take a drink bottle, there's a lot to see. Love the swinging bridge. There's great cycle ways through here as well.
