Getting Around

Bus stops "Mai" or "Mai kool". Buses 6, 10, 15, 16, 17, 19, 25 to town centre (stops "Bussijaam" or "Teater"). No 15, 16 and 17 drive by the beach (stops "Veeparadiis" and "Sanatoorium").

It's good to get around on bikes in Pärnu. Prices for bike rental on their website bicyclerentalparnu . eu / eng . html It's on the central beach next to Rannahotell and kids playground, open from 9 am to 7 pm. Includes helmet and a lock, and also free technical help throughout the rental period, e.g if the tire breaks they will come to you and change it on spot. If you can't find them on the beach, you can call them and they will deliver the bikes to your address (usually in 30 min and the delivery costs 1€/bike).

The flooding that is characteristic of Soomaa can cover up to 17,500 hectares of the park, and is referred to as the fifth season by locals.
