If you need some caffeine to start or maintain your day, I highly recommend coming here. Also in the Brewery complex, it's close to both my home and the Stony Brook subway station.

Good cheap food in a pinch. It's not gourmet and normally I'd say go fish, but since it's up the street from the house, you can't beat it for convenience. I recommend the scallion pancakes!

If you have any time at all to explore JP, come here!! This is the best ice cream shop in Boston and it started here in JP! The area here is perfect for dining, walking (JP pond), and enjoying life.

Amazing burgers! You'll pay about $15 per person here (with drinks), but if you want a good burger, then try this place out! I'd also recommend the fries with truffle oil.

The cheapest grocery store you'll find in the area with the most to offer. Some of the produce is suspect, but you can't beat their prices. It's not far, but a car or an Uber ride is a good idea.

If you need beer, wine, or liquor, this is the best option in JP. Great prices and a tremendous selection. This is in the JP center, so a car ride would make this an easier trip.
