Great place on a corner to observe the word (Berlin) go by :) You can have a coffee or a simple breakfast. In the evening the place turns into a bar with good if not a bit expensive cocktails. The service can be a bit slow but I like it for the location and the atmosphere. Take Tram 12 for 6 stops until U Eberswalder Str.

One of my favorite cafes in Berlin, delicious food, nice coffee, relaxed ambiances and very comfortable couches. It is very close to Mauerpark. Both are highly recommended on a Sunday

The name translates to "Wall Park", referring to its status as a former part of the Berlin Wall and its Death Strip. A must-do in Berlin. Take Tram 12 to U Eberswalder and walk from there.

Planetarium was rebuilt and reopened in summer 2016 so it is freshly renovated, and has an impressive dome and very interesting shows. Shows and programs are mostly in German, so some German is required. Sometimes they have concerts as well http://sdtb.de/zeiss-grossplanetarium/angebote/

Hard to describe: it is sort of an old brewery converted into "everything else": bars, cinema, clubs and the best Christmas market in the winter. Nice atmosphere, beer - so truly German. Take Tram 12 to U Eberswalder Str.
