A lovely spot with lots of cafes and restaurants, retail shops, nearby is a a great open park with playground, and its a popular spot to see a movie in one of Brisbane's original cinemas at a very reasonable price ($9 for adults). A walk to the end of Oxford St takes you to the Brisbane River where you can catch the CityCat to the city or New Farm park.

If you love Asian food, you must visit Market Square. There's a huge selection of Asian cuisine from Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Malaysian and much more. All reasonably priced due to so much competition in the one spot. Parking is a challenge almost any time of the day, but especially at night.
