Great for a meal or just a drink in front of the fire. It does get busy on a Friday and Saturday evening with the locals so booking for food is essential.

This Antony Warrell-Thomson's restaurant where the food and atmosphere is excellent. Again great for special occasions and more relaxed than a formal restaurant such as the French Horn, and only a mile up the road. Booking essential.

A very traditional (some would say formal) French restaurant on the river at Sonning on Thames. Its in a beautiful setting and excellent for special occasions. Booking is essential. One of the more expensive restaurants in the area but a real treat if you're a foodie! Dress smart.
