Only pizzeria I know of in Catania that makes gluten free pizza ;-) just in case. It's about 15 min by car from the house, in a nice village called Aci Castello (visit the castle on a lava rock!)

Very lively place for a young drink outdoors. This place turns into a youngster get-together on mondays. The area around it is called Pescheria (fish market) and although a bit scruffy it's cool.

This is one of the most beautiful places in sicily both for architecture, atmosphere and warmth of people. Definitely a must see. Only 1h away from home ;-)
