This is my 'go to' park, and part of the reason I moved here. It has a great paved running trail along Carrol Creek, and is just a nice atmosphere.

From my house, as you walk south toward the center of town, Market street is quaint and charming below about 5th street to beyond the canal. Give it a go. You'll find plenty of shops and food
