Cozy romantic italian restaurant, you might have to wait for a table because because it's quite small and the food is very good.

It's a nice little bistro/restaurant very cozy and nicely decorated, it's a bit hidden but it's worth discovering! It's located next to to the Rua dos Pescadores (The fishermen street), there is a big panda painted on the wall. O Xéxéxé serves great healthy dishes, lot's of yummy veggies options, pastries and deserts. If you are not looking to eat you can just have something to drink, like a tea or a cocktail. Also serves nice brunches on sundays, make sure to book a table in advance.

It's a restaurant with a large outdoor closed terrace, great decor inside that serves amazing hamburgers (we love the Ramboia hamburger with sweet potatoes fries), pregos (typical portuguese meat sandwich), ribs with barbecue sauce, chili and francesinhas (that's a very good typical dish from the North region of Portugal) and also great cocktails, Gin Tonic, caipirinhas and sangria. On fridays and saturdays they are open until 2h00.

It's a little coffee shop/bar with a great decor based on a mix of vintage, surf, navy and pirates items. It's a nice place to have breakfast, grab something to eat for an afternoon snack, or to have something to drink at the end of the day like a Gin Tonic. The menus are different every day, so you will only know what you will be eating when you get there. We recommend the Açai bolls.

Tasca Rica is a restaurant with a generous terrace in front of the restaurant that serves typical portuguese dishes and portuguese tapas that we call "petiscos", it's small dishes that are met to be shared. We prefer to seat inside rather then outside on the terrace, the decor is quite nice with the portuguese tiles on the wall and bistro like table. We recommend the "pica pau" (it's a typical portuguese dish made with pieces of beaf cooked on a beer sauce), the "chocos fritos"(it's delicious fried octopus, the "ameijoas à bulhão de pato", pregos e bitoques are very good dishes. They also serve cocktails like mojitos, caipirinihas or gin tonic. A visit to the bathroom is a must, they are quite surprising!

TRAFARIA, it's a modest, small little fishermen village with a beautiful view from Lisbon, you can eat a great meal mostly fresh fish and seafood on any restaurants located in front of the Tagus River, and grab the boat to Belém. To get to Trafaria by bus grab the BUS Nº 129 (Costa da Caparica - Trafaria) A must experience once you arrived at Belém from the boat. You need to try the world famous Pasteis de Belem. There you have plenty to explore, the Monumentos dos Descobrimentos, Torre de Belem and Mosteiro dos Jerónimos, I recomend also a visit to the CCB (Cultural Centre of Belem) the garden have a fantastic view.

CACILHAS is a neighborhood of Almada, this waterfront district on the southern bank of the Tagus offers one of the most beautiful views of Lisbon and has several restaurants known for their fresh fish. To get to Cacilhas from Costa da Caparica you can grab the BUS Nº 124 or Nº135 at the TST Bus Terminal. On this street you may visit the Church of Our Lady of Safe Homecoming, built in 1759 with a beautiful gilded interior and tile panels. Across the road you find a large vessel from the 1800s (the "D. Fernando II e Glória"), which may be visited every day except Mondays (free admission on the first Sunday of the month). At Cacilhas you have to experience the crossing of the river Tejo to get to downtown Lisbon, you arrive at Cais do Sodré. There you have lot's of choice of public transportation (tram, buses, subway), although I recommend to explore on foot Praça do Comércio, Rua Augusta e Chiado.
