Best Italian joint we've found. Run by Sicilians, all the expat Italians seem to eat there as well. House made pastas daily, great pizzas, nice atmosphere. Wine is the weak link. Stick with beer.

For late night Hungarian, it doesn't get much better or closer. Kitchen closes around midnight.

Straight up best slice in the city. NYC style. No, it's not as good, but it's a decent substitute. High quality ingredients, thin crust, oregano and crushed red pepper on the table. Solid.

Great Kebabs at this place near the house. Ask for a "sandwich with everything" you'll get a tortilla type of thing with lots of grilled chicken, veggies, spicy sauce. Great lunch for under $3

Over in Buda. A lot less expensive than Onyx, but still one of our favorite meals in the city. Father and son team in a little neighborhood setting. You pick the 4 or 8 course menu and that's it.
