OK, yeah so a dude got murdered here on New Year's day a few years back, but it's the closest pool hall and the vibe is really not scuzzy considering. There's a karaoke night (not my thing, but FYI).

This place was pretty laid back. It's right across the street so when I needed convenience I would hit this place up.

Now this is where it was at! Coffee and various coffee drinks and pastries next door. I really can't recommend one thing because it was all good.

Their buffet may be small but it's inexpensive and the items are much better quality than the other Chinese food buffets in town (there are a LOT of Chinese food buffets in town).

The original, we have them here in Austin now but this one is still the best. I was there on opening day and bought sandwiches regularly. The cookies are awesome.

Yeah there's a SPEC's right across the street, but don't be a douche by supporting corporate America. JJ's was here before I moved there in '96 and deserves our support. Besides JJ's is cheaper.
