If you however don't mind a longer drive, Scandinavia's biggest shopping mall "Mall of Scandinavia" is about 35 minutes away.

Värmdö is a beautiful part of Stockholm with the gorgeous archipelago at its doorstep. Nature is a key word out here. Exhale stress, inhale rest, beauty and peace.
A beautiful old, but newly refurbished farm around 20 minutes from the house. They offer lots of different activities for the whole family, like minigolf, and have lots of different animals, like goats, chicken, sheep and alpacas. On the weekends they even have brunch that can be enjoyed by the open fire place.
