Fantastic botanical garden that's a lovely place to visit all year long. Their gift shop gallery carries Ellie's pottery. Lovely little eatery on the grounds for a nice lunch spot.

This is where we go to get out the heat and hike in the pines. Many trails for hiking. There's also a ski resort that we like to visit in the summer to ride on the ski lift through the trees. Lovely and peaceful. The drive alone is SPECTACULAR, with many places to stop and explore.

This is a loop trail that goes ALL THE WAY around Tucson! It's super cool. It's close to us and is a great place to go to walk, run, or ride your bike.

Another very cool place that not too many people know about. It is well worth the drive. Great hiking and very interesting Apache history here. Could be combined with stopping at Sonoita wineries on the way back.
