Walking distance from the apartment. Hands down the best brunch in Oakland, 7 days a week. And right by the lake so you can enjoy the view before or after your meal. Prepare to wait, but the savory French toast is worth it!

Hidden below the Golden Gate Bridge is a civil war area fort that the bridge was actually designed around. It's an amazing structure with a great view of the bay. Open Friday- Sunday.

Not just a museum, but this is the century old building that houses the systems for the cable cars. It's amazing to see the giant spools of cables in action. Not to be missed!
