A great pub and restaurant. You can choose to go for a drink or eat in the bar or even the restaurant area which is slightly more fine dining. Great on a Tuesday evening for the jazz or folk night.

A UNESCO site, Calton Hill is quite unique and offers stunning views over all parts of the city – from the main thoroughfare of Princess Street at the west end, to Arthur's Seat and Salisbury crags. On the hill itself, there are many interesting buildings to explore, including The National Monument (modelled on the Greek Parthenon and built as a memorial to the Scottish soldiers who died in the Napoleonic war), The City Observatory, Robert Burns Monument, The Duguld Stewart Monument and the Nelson Monument
