Great bar situated in the old town of Southampton. It now has open at the old wool house (Medieval) with his own Dancing man brewery. Just down the road from the platform. Great micro brewery

Lovely cafe, a volunteer-run ("...for love, not for a profit", as a sign announces) vegetarian cafe, vintage clothing boutique and gallery. Not to mention arts space, where you can catch a band.

We've been here. It's a 5 minute drive from our place. The food and service are great, really good buffet and fabulous price. Really recommend it.

For the slightly younger guests, this is where a lot of the uni students go for a night out. There are clubs, bars and cafes.

I'm not recommending the pitch & putt, but down along here is a nice place a for a stroll along the shore. If you're lucky you may get to see some cruise ships leaving Southampton docks
