This historic race way is now a lovely, wooded walk either around a gravel track or on a winding, wooded trail. Great for dogs. No bikes allowed, though. The trail also connects to Riverwalk into downtown Hillsborough and across to Gold Park for about a 5 mile round trip.

Historic Occoneechee Speedway Trailhead
320 Elizabeth Brady RdThis historic race way is now a lovely, wooded walk either around a gravel track or on a winding, wooded trail. Great for dogs. No bikes allowed, though. The trail also connects to Riverwalk into downtown Hillsborough and across to Gold Park for about a 5 mile round trip.
This playground and soccer field also features a dog park and trails. The trail system connects Riverwalk and the Historic Orange County Speedway for a 5 mile round trip.
