Art museum with a surprisingly huge collection of works including old masters you maybe have already seen but only in books. Nice outdoor fountain area with lots of pollywogs in late spring early summer for kids. Walking trails too, and kids art area thingy.

A trip to the top of the Dickson Hill Fire Tower in Grafton Lakes state park ( access from Fire Tower Road without paying park fees if you want) gives you spectacular views of the area. Google map where to park for it, its easy to miss if you are not tracking on GPS. Less than 10 min from cabin by car.
