A mini hike up this hill is absolutely worth the effort: there is a special view of the golden gate bridge from the top. There are also some beautiful Victorian homes around it.

Great destination for an urban hike, the stats offer a spectacular view down to the bay and you can easily extend with a walk into the Presidio which is adjacent.
