Place to buy ticket for tram called "Zubačka" if want to go to Hrebienok. You can walk uphill as well. The walk would take around 1 hour.

Štrbské Pleso – Kriváň
Very nice hike to Kriváň (there are also a chains). The tour from Štrbské pleso (tarn) takes about 9 hours. Kriváň offers not only a beautiful view of the surroundings but also pleasant feeling of hill climbing. The hardest part is climb to Daxnerovo saddle.
