If you’re traveling with a little one, the treehouse museum is a great indoor activity place. It’s a non-profit and each room is based on story books. It’s like a massive creative playroom and very inexpensive!

Famous Utah ski resort known for its powder-like snow…Powder Mountain is about a 38 min. drive from Mowgli’s Place. UTA Ski Bus 674 (Utah Transit Authority) operates a ski shuttle bus to Powder Mountain.

25th street is just a few minutes drive north and has lots of shopping and cafes. On Saturday mornings during the summer there is a Farmer’s Market.

Fry sauce is just better than ketchup and each restaurant typically has their own “brand.” Fry sauce is a very Utah thing.

Orienting Yourself in Ogden
The Wasatch Mountain range gives us a focal point for telling directions. From Mowgli’s Place, The Great Salt Lake sits west, and the mountain range is East. As long as you can see the mountains you can generally sense what direction you are in.
