An open-air museum that is built as a genuine town in the center of Aarhus. It is broken up into three historical periods; 1864, 1927, and 1974, and you walk down the streets and into the buildings, where you are met by actors and actresses playing people from the historical periods.

Aarhus Cathedral is located in the center of the city on Store Torv. It's a beautiful church from the 1300's with white and gothic interior. In the summertime, you can climb up the bell tower to a viewpoint over the city.

The beach in Risskov is located only 500 metres down the hill from the Airbnb. There are several bathing bridges located along the seaside, and if you walk along the beach to the 'Bellevue' area, there is also a life guard in the summertime.

The forest right next to the Airbnb is the perfect place for a walk or run. There are forest paths that lead you to the city as well as the ocean. In the springtime, the entire ground is covered in wild garlic, which is safe (and delicious) to harvest and cook with.

Forest paths
In the forest right next to the Airbnb, there are walking- and bike paths that lead to the beach (5 minutes away by foot), the marina (15 minutes away by foot), and the center of Aarhus (30-40 minutes away by foot).

Busses you can take at the end of the street where the Airbnb is located. They go into the center of the Aarhus:

To go into the center of the city, get off the bus at 'Klostertorvet'.

Verkehrsmittel
Letbane (light rail train)
Down the hill from the Airbnb to the beach and a little to the left is the train station. Here you can very easily take the light rail into the city. There is a ticket machine on the platform where you can buy single trip, multi-trip, and one-day tickets.
