These are our favorite places to eat lunch in the area!
Jane Bistro has a great lunch menu for salads and sandwiches. The portion sizes are very large and the sweet tea is to die for. The dining room and patio are very comfortable. It is located at Shelter Cove Town Center which features many shopping options.

Modern Seafood menu with a beautiful view of Broad Creek! Fishcamp offers a select menu of modern seafood dishes including a raw bar. We enjoy the ahi tuna two ways and the mussels for appetizers. You can’t go wrong with any of the entrees.

Counter service Mexican food for a quick lunch. Fiesta Fresh is very reasonably priced and the portions are good sized. This is a good place to grab a quick lunch or takeout. Try the chicken quesadilla or the carnitas tacos, don’t forget to load up at the salsa bar.

Think Chipotle but even better! Customize your meal however you want. Choose your style dish then add a protein and the toppings you want. Get the guacamole! Also, they have great coffee.

The Island’s Mellow Mushroom has the best air conditioning out of any restaurant. If you need a break from the heat go here! We enjoy the pretzel bites, Greek salad, and pizza. They also have 48 draft beers on tap!

Coligny is the most popular beach on the island. It is a public beach with limited beach parking located across the street. Coligny shopping plaza and Celebration park are also on this area. The Tiki Hut and Pool Bar Jim’s are on the beach for some great views and frozen drinks!

Burkes Beach

This beach is less busy than Coligny and would be great for beach walks. It also has a tidal channel that leads out into the ocean. Pay attention to the tide because the channel may not be cross able at high tide.
The adventures beach! Most convenient place to find shells and wildlife on the beach. This beach is secluded and less busy than the other beaches. It is good for walks but not great for setting up a day on the beach.
