Grabbing a couple margs and some chips and guac after a hike is one of my favorite rewards! Good food and the added fun of looking over the fence at the wild javelinas that gather to indulge on tortillas chips.

This is a perfect day trip when you just need to cool down! Lynx Lake is located in Prescott and well worth the drive. This beautiful lake is perfect for paddle boarding, swimming and fishing. Pack a picnic and spend the afternoon frolicking in the water.
Pro Tip: There is a Costco 1-2 miles away, so combine a day trip at the lake and hit Costco before heading back to Sedona

W Sedona is considered the less touristy side of town and most things feel like they're less than a mile away. Do you need groceries? Bashas' Grocery Store is 2 blocks away from the condo. Safeway is 6 blocks away. Whole Foods is a mile. Sedonuts is in the same shopping complex as Safeway and Synergy Coffee is across the street. Multiple yummy restaurants, like Picasso's is in W Sedona and with literally dozens and dozens of hiking trails on this side, you have (almost) all that you need. Please explore all of Sedona while here, but enjoy the convenience of W Sedona the way I have!

West Sedona

Hiking Sedona
With 260+ hiking trails in Sedona to choose from, there is literally hiking for all ages and ability levels. There's a hiking guidebook in the condo, but I also highly recommend using a hiking app such as the Pro version of All Trails because it can be very easy to get off trail even on some of the most popular trails in the region. I hope you end up falling in love with this region the way I have!
