What to see in Moncton

Sightseeing

This is the coolest experience. The illusion is that you are going backwards but feels like you are going uphill. This is where you will find Magic Mountain splash park (huge slides, rides and mini golf) along with Magnetic Hill Zoo. In this same area of town you will also find Butterfly World which is a very nice place if you are interested in the natural habitat of butterflies.

Tidal Bore

This is a large wave that comes through town once and sometimes twice per day. There have been people who have surfed in on it. You have to look up when the next wave is coming in but this is a natural phenomena that most people are really interested in seeing.

Hiking trails around the city

If you like to go hiking there are some really beautiful spots around the city. Centennial park is an awesome spot and you will find Treego there as well; so zip lining, and obstacles courses. The Irishtown Nature park has some awesome trails as well, and Mapleton Park have some smaller trails to walk.

Places to eat

So for breakfast there’s a few that are great. Igloo Beverage Room has a good selection of classic breakfast choices. Jeans Restaurant and Cora’s are the most popular in town and has a large selection of breakfast items, and my personal favorite is Pur and Simple where they have smoothies, and a whole slew of breakfast choices from classic to super healthy. For Lunch catching a couple food trucks on Mountain rd like Shangalay… wonderful menu and amazing food. Super there is a world of options in Moncton, Bocci, Gustos, and Rossinos (kids eat free on Tuesday) and Our very own Big Blues see menu
