Biking/ walking/ running / hiking
This is a 10 mile loop trail along the river. Its a paved trail and when you are on the Wenatchee side, there are restaurants and a couple of breweries to check out.

This is a great little trail that is about 1.5 miles from the cottage. This is a great trail for mountain biking, running, walking or hiking. There is a lot of uphill, but good views!

Good place for a hike, there are also mountain biking trails that you can see from the same location. Nice paved parking lot.

Nice little hike out of Leavenworth. Its about 30 min from the house. Great views of Leavenworth valley at the top.

Nice flat hike/walk. Its probably about 45-50 min from the cottage. You have to travel up a dirt road for a bit to get to the trail head.

Brewery
We have not tried this place yet, but there are always lots of people and it looks fun. Its on my list to try. They usually have music on the weekends and outdoor covered seating. Its right off the loop trail, so stop when you are on your bikes.

Movies
Great movie theater .8 miles from the Cottage. You can make reservations online. They have two movies that are VIP, which means it cost more, but has nice lounge chair seating and not as many seats as the normal ones. You can also buy alcohol and take it into the movie :). They also have food and snacks, but don’t really recommend the food. Popcorn is fine.

This is about 1.5 miles from the cottage and is a cute little area to explore. There is an admission fee and there are a lot of stairs. Tons of gardens and little water area’s. Also gives a nice view of Wenatchee.
