Beautiful, educational and free wildlife and bird watching oasis just 30 minutes away by car. The Bear River Migratory Bird Refuge is a 74,000-acre National Wildlife Refuge in Utah, established in 1928. The refuge hosts millions of migratory birds each year including species such as bald eagle and tundra swan. The Wildlife Education Center is open Tuesday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm and Saturday, 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. The 12-mile auto tour route, Wetland Wonders and Marsh Meander walking trails are open sunrise to sunset.
