Michael's Genuine is our local award winning restaurant. It's expensive and worth every dollar. You need to make reservations, because it's always crowded. The menu is changed almost daily, because everything is fresh.

Sightseeing
O f course, Miami Beach, especially South Beach, which is really from 5th Street to about 17th Street. 15-minute drive from the apartment. Uber or Lyft $12 - $15, but on Saturday evenings, because the causeway is bumper to bumper most of the time, Uber or Lyft charges about $35. Also, parking is expensive if you have a car, and if you're lucky to find a parking spot.

Target, Marshall's, Ross, all reasonably priced shops where you can buy anything from flip flops and towels to a dress for your nightlife events. Target also has groceries you can purchase. And that's in one building. In the open area, there are many more shops and restaurants to go to.

All the food you want to purchase to stock up for your stay you'll find at Publix. It's a 5-minute drive from the apartment.
There is also a mini grocery store that's on the same street as the apartment. So if you're on the street and your back to the apartment, you walk 2 blocks to the left (west) and it's on the corner across the street. You'll find water, beer, wine, food, produce and lottery tickets!

Getting Around
You can get to this station on a trolley and take the metro mover to Brickell or downtown Miami/Bayfront. It also takes you to the Metrolrail in downtown Miami that will take you to the Miami International Airport.
