Sightseeing
A great family day out. Can easily make several trips to do and see everything that you want to. There’s also a light show at night which is very good. They also do cheaper tickets for late afternoon and evening park entry. (Tip: Pack a change of clothes as some of the water rides leave you drenched!)

A place of historical significance
A little drive from Ceaux-en-Couhé towards Limogé (approx 1hr30) is Oradour Sur Glane. The town has a chilling past having been subjected to horrors in the Second World War and has been left untouched. A very moving day out for people interested in history.

Fun Family Activity
A fun expérience for family/ friends, thé vélo rail takes you through the forest with fantastic views of medieval Chauvigny. Keeps you fit! But good fun.
It’s really good fun and a good out door activity for a few hours. There are two trips you can choose from, one slightly longer than the other. It’s better to do on a nice weather day.

Verkehrsmittel
Think about transport
The charm of Ceaux-en-Couhé is that you can really get away from it all in rural France. It does mean that taxis aren't readily available. You could happily spend the whole week in a gîte but it's also a popular area for hiking and cycling so consider bringing your bike or walking shoes. If you want to take advantage of what the area has to offer consider bringing or hiring a car as a must.
