Nagymaros is 50 mins by train from the nearby Nyugati railway station. It has a nice Danube bank with great view on the Visagrad castle at the other side of the river.

Are you hungry? Norbi is basically 1m from the entrance. Classic hungarian food for cash only. He is open between 11am and 3pm. Take a box with you from the kitchen to save plastic ;)

Budapest has a world class public transport system
Download the BudapestGo application to buy etickets to the transport sytem. Tickets valid for 24hrs and 72hrs are perfect to get around. Travelling without a ticket is the national sport of Hungary, so the BKK (the Budapest Public Transport company) has controllers circulating on the vechiles, thus, make sure you validate your tickets.
Many city attractions are within 30 mins walking distance such as the Parlaiment ( 10 mins), Margaret island (10 mins), Castle district (30 mins), "party zone" 6th district (30 mins).

Chill out in the nearby Szent Istvan park
an easy walk from the apartmant you can find the Szent Istvan Park. Buy a coffee on the way and just relax in the park

"MOL Bubi" is our public bicycle system.
"MOL Bubi" is our public bicycle system. Download the app "MOL Bubi". Two mins to register your credit card, buy a montly pass for 500 HUF (approx. 1.2 EUR) to use the bikes for free up to 30mins. You must drop them at the designated stations. Then pick up another bike an ride 30mins for free again ;) best deal ever.
There are 3 MOL Bubi station within 5mins.
