Riverside/Avondale
This is the neighborhood the Airbnb is located in. It’s beautiful and quiet with plenty of places of interest that are walking distance or a short drive away. There are also plenty of bars located on King street in Riverside.
Avondale Restaurants:
Orsay – upscale French restaurant with good happy hour specials. Walking distance from the house!
Flying Iguana – awesome tacos (steak taco, pork belly, and blackened shrimp are my personal favorites) with good margaritas. Usually short wait time for seating and walking distance from the house!
Pinegrove Deli – great steak sandwiches and burgers. Walking distance from the house!
Whits – awesome homemade custard. I go here way too often. Definitely a must if you are in the mood for something sweet
Biscottis – good place to go for brunch or dinner. Close by in Avondale
Southern Grounds- cool coffee shop with plenty of space to read/study. Located on the main strip in Avondale
Mesa – new Indian fusion restaurant that is very good.

Pattaya Thai – my favorite Thai food in Jax
Keg & Coin – arcade room and serve beer
Bold Bean coffee – great coffee, have to try their breakfast tacos!

Avondale
Riverside/Avondale

5 points is an area of Riverside less than a 5 minute drive away. It has a local movie theatre (They sell food, wine, and beer that you can enjoy while watching the movie), bars, and restaurants that are a lot of fun. Below are just a couple recommendations.
