For local maple syrup, to-die-for breakfast, and an eclectic local gift shop - plan a visit to Parker's. The wait time is always long so plan to put in your name and wait up to an hour to be seated. We usually visit the gift shop, relax on the outdoor swings, and make friends with other customers while we wait. Well worth the wait!

Lull farm is worth a visit for pick-your-own, a large variety farm store, fresh bakery (with donuts, muffins, and croissants baked daily! YUM), seasonal pies, fresh local coffee, farm eggs, their own raised beef, chicken, and turkey meat. A gorgeous location - worth a visit while you're here!!

Buckley's is the perfect spot for vacationers because it is packed with delicious handmade baked goods, fresh cut meats & fish to grill, prepared dinners, made-to-order sandwiches and salads, delicious cafe selection, and a small variety of grocery items.

Enjoy a tasting in the beautiful gardens, they offer a range of tastings from $15.00 per person to $57.00. The variation in price has to do with the amount of food and wine you select. They are not a restaurant, but they have a great selection of cheeses, meats, crackers and chocolates.

From our dock you will see across to Silver Lake beach. This state park spans 80 acres and its sandy 1,000-foot beach curves along 34-acre Silver Lake. Hikers will delight in the short trail loop starting from the beach or countless miles of hiking trails starting from the main parking lot and entering Spalding Town Forest. Walking distance from our house!

This 2.9-mile loop trail starts across the street from our house. Generally considered an easy route, it takes an average of 1 h 12 min to complete. This trail is great for hiking, mountain biking, and trail running, and it's unlikely you'll encounter many other people while exploring.
