I was saying that Denia is THE culinary capital of Spain famous for its red prawn and other dishes. Quique Dacosta is a Michelin restaurant usually put in the list of top 100 restaurants of the world!

Alfa & Omega college is across the road from our villa. It is the best school in Denia. In July they have a summer camp with Spanish, English and music classes, with Spanish and American teachers

Hostal Loreto is located in Loreto street full of nice restaurants. Our favourite is a tapas place which boasts 117 different types of gins (!) and 17 tonics.

Marques de Campo is Denia's main street in the shadow of old trees. It has good shopping and lots of restaurants. This is where all street parades take place in July and August, book a table early!

Montgo is Denia's mountain resembling a large elephant. It takes about two hours - three with small children - to walk (no climbing involved!) to the very Top to admire the fantastic view.

Just in case, this is Denia's state-of-the-art brand new hospital. We also have two first aid places in the town's centre and two private medical centres. Denia is developing medical tourism.

Denia is the nearest port to Balearic Islands, I.e. Ibiza, Majorca, etc. You can take a fast Balearia ferry which will take you to the capital of clubbing in 3 hours. Or, just watch ferries leaving...

This is a huge parking lot on which they have Monday street markets and Friday antique / bric-a-brac / flea markets.

This is where our nearest very large shopping center with the likes of Zaras and Stradivarius is located, also, with lots of cafes and a cinema.

Parcent, like other villages off the shore, has lots of interesting things. Here you have a genuine flamenco restaurant and a tree-climbing park for kids over 7.

Deveses is still in Denia! The sandy beaches, slowly becoming deeper the more you drive from Denia, stretch up to here. Our nearest beach in Denia, Marineta Cassiana, is very shallow, good for kids.

Denia is Spanish / International, Javea is English. A good sandy beach with lots of cafes / bars. It is 30 min drive from Denia across a mountain, with beautiful views. We, of course, prefer Denia.

As in many cases, an incorrect location. Anyway, Mundo Maritimo is the company which operates pleasure yachts. A safe trip on a catamaran, overtaking dolphins, is unforgettable!
