You're currently in the neighborhood Brobekk, in the Bjerke District in Oslo. It's a quiet peaceful part of town and besides easy access to the city center, there's also some nice treats to be found around the corner. Bjerkedalen Park with its lovely restaurant Paviljongen is a good advice for a relaxed dinner/coffee/drink. There are also multiple supermarkets, the closest one being Rema 1000 at the end of the street (out to the left). Brobekk is a safe neighborhood.

Wonderful relaxed vibe by the sea. Nice view to the Opera and great atmosphere. Perfect for a sunny day with some food and drinks. NB! They also have saunas with drop-in, so you can jump in the fjord, go into a sauna and enjoy refreshments.

Experience Oslo

Nice food court by the water. Good food and drinks and excellent view to the Oslo fjord. Most tables are indoor in an industrial hall, but also some space outdoors.

The original hipster area of Oslo is nice to walk around in. Centered around Olaf Ryes plass you'll find heaps of street cafés and bars where the locals enjoy a drink, lunch or dinner. Nice Vibe.

Look at the Opera, jump in the fjord and climb into a hot sauna. All within 30 seconds. Sounds like something for you? Bring a towel and swimmers and you can do a drop-in floating sauna right next to the Opera. Definitely an experience worth trying!

Probably the most iconic architecture in Oslo. Walk on the white marble roof and get a view of the city. Wear sunglasses on a bright day! Continue your walk by the harbour either left or right and capture the Oslo vibe.

Oslo's famous sculpture park is worth a visit. Specially if you're into strange sculptures. It's a nice park and there's also a café with great mussels and white wine. Bonus: visit Emanuel Vigeland Museum inside (only open on Sundays) and experience a dark mausoleum where your eyes will see more and more as you adjust to the darkness..

Excellent view over Oslo. There are two ways to get there. Either you can drive all the way up to the restaurant on top or if you feel like a great hike, you can walk all the way up. It's fairly steep but not too hard (we've brought the stroller with us a few times). If you don't feel like a good hour sweaty walk uphill, take the car and enjoy the view with a coffee and waffle on top!

The brand new Munch museum is worth a visit if you are interested in arts or have seen the Scream painting and want more of that. The location is also excellent and should be combined with a walk along the seaside of Oslo. It's right next to the Opera and there's great restaurant and cafés everywhere with a sea view.
