The Cenotaph was constructed in May 24, 1929, and dedicated "To Our Glorious Dead" (WWI, WWII, Korean War). The memorial was unveiled May 24, 1929, by Ontario Lt. Gov. W. D. Ross. The nineteen feet high, nine feet wide and five feet thick granite Cenotaph is located at the City Hall of Kitchener, Ontario. The names of some of the greatest battles that Canadians participated in appear on the sides and the dedication was made "as a symbol of all that is fine and noble in the community as well as a symbol of sacrifice." Four flags would be kept unfurled on the memorial at all times, and floodlights would be set up to bathe the Cenotaph in light.

Brubacher House is a historic house museum in Waterloo, Ontario which showcases the home life of 19th century Mennonite pioneers in Waterloo County. The house was built in 1850 or 1851 by the Mennonite community for the Brubacher family. The Brubacher House was built in a style typical of Pennsylvania German architecture. In this beautiful setting on the side of a gentle hill, Magdalena and John E. Brubacher raised fourteen children. Farming continued on the land until 1965 when the property was purchased as part of the University of Waterloo. The University of Waterloo proposed to preserve and restore one of the original farm homes on the campus in recognition of the Pennsylvania German culture which was represented on the farmlands it purchased, and as a reminder that the total 1,000 acres of the university campus was once owned by Mennonites and devoted to agriculture.

What is now the Old Marina Restaurant and Gift House began as a dance hall in the 1920’s. The venue saw incredible expansion over the following decades and became a real destination where people could come and enjoy the natural beauty of Puslinch Lake (it even included a miniature railway!). In the 1950’s, the dance hall became a marina that offered engine repair and boat rental services as well as a ski school that still operates out of the original building to this day. It was in 1993 that the marina finally became the Old Marina Restaurant and Gift House. The original founders wanted to create a place of comfort, camaraderie, and casual dining, so they converted the marina into a family-oriented dining venue with wrap around porches and spectacular ambience. Despite a devastating fire in 2005, the Old Marina Restaurant re-opened in 2007 and has today become an escape within the city to the warm and cozy lakeside atmosphere with a large stone fireplace keeping you warm in winter, huge bay windows sharing the beauty of every season, and a large outdoor deck for relaxing over comfort food and great beverages.

We have a wonderful music tradition, featuring two choirs (junior and senior) which add much to our worship of God. We are a joyful community, thankful for Christ’s many blessings to us. We offer programs for all generations. We are led by a minister who has a strong commitment to young people and whose sermons reflect well the gospels and their call for us to serve one another. We believe we can become even better at serving the community but we need your help to do this. We look forward to seeing you, your family and friends in the near future.
